Relive the 2014 Oscar-winning® film Whiplash, starring Miles Teller and JK Simmons, written and directed by Damien Chazelle, during a mesmerizing live concert experience on January 21, 2026 at Eventim Apollo in London. Whiplash tells the story of an ambitious young drummer, Andrew, studying at an elite jazz conservatory in New York City, and his ruthless instructor, Fletcher, who pushes Andrew to the brink in the pursuit of greatness. The show features a 18-piece London Intercollegiate Jazz Orchestra (LIJO) led by Finn Genockey and conducted by composer Justin Hurwitz, and features world-class drummer Greyson Nekrutman. Let yourself be carried away by the incredible music and thrilling drum solos performed in perfect synchronisation with the film projected on the big screen. Like the film’s protagonist, the drummer will have the difficult task of following every movement of the conductor with total precision, capturing the intensity of the film in a live concert experience.
