Step into a world of fiery improvisation and genre-defying brilliance as Roby Lakatos and his ensemble take the stage at indigo at The O2. A violinist like no other, Lakatos blends classical mastery with the spirited energy of gypsy jazz, dazzling audiences with his breathtaking speed, emotion, and style. Hailing from a long line of Romani violinists and mentored early on by Yehudi Menuhin, Lakatos is a boundary-breaking virtuoso who moves effortlessly between musical worlds – from classical and jazz to klezmer, flamenco, and beyond. His performances are known for their joyous spontaneity, technical flair, and electrifying atmosphere.
